Africa is increasingly becoming a dumping ground for the European Union’s over 200 banned pesticides. Despite being prohibited in Europe, these toxic pesticides are still exported, with 10% of them shipped to Africa. In response, Broederlijk Delen(BD) in partnership with PELUM Association, Inades Formation and Food Safety Coalition Uganda (FOSCU) is demanding an end to the exportation and importation of these toxic and banned pesticides.
