JOb Title: Advocacy Officer
The Advocacy Officer will support the overall advocacy work of PELUM Association. However,
attention is required on the interests of women (especially rural women) and fostering their
rights and resilience amidst climate change.
As such, you are to provide strategic leadership, coordination and management of PELUM
Association Advocacy and ensure its alignment with the Association strategic plan and policies
for the realization of the goal of the Association.
PELUM Association expects a motivated and skilled individual who will play a key role in
driving impactful advocacy at continental levels that trickles down to the regional and national
levels. The individual must also be capable of building the necessary capacity for impactful
communication and visibility, to achieve the project’s and Associations’ intended outcomes.
This position reports directly to the Head of Programmes at the PELUM Association.
